In the modern world we recognise that the truest nobility is our own. And the nations.
The passion and love that motivated pre-Enlightenment Scots and Irish people is the same today for American people.
Yes, It's very true. The French Revolution never would have happened if the American's didn't give them the idea. (And it Ben Franklin didn't cause the French to go bankrupt!) I'm reading about the 1916 Irish Rebellion right now as well, and I was surprised to find so many similarities.
